Trey Mills has written and produced Top 10 records for various artists heard on FM radio around the world. Some of his compositions have been heard during the World Cup of Soccer, Degrassi "The Next Generation", Soulfood, ABC Television commercials and more.
He has collaborated with Eddie Kramer [The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Kiss], Dixon Van Winkle [Frank Sinatra, Paul McCartney] and written for, recorded, produced and/or mixed artists such as Forest Blakk, Canadian Brass, Melanie Fiona, KRS-One, Dempsey Bolton, Nicole Holness, Glenn Lewis, X-Quisite, Ish, Jhevon Paris, GQ [Angel in My Bed], Sean Kelly, Makeshift Innocence, Fito Blanko, Trinity Bradshaw, has worked for Greg Lake [Emerson Lake and Palmer], Tyrese Gibson and began his career providing PQ Editing and Pre-Mastering for Sony, Warner, Universal, EMI and other various labels.
Trey has been a guest speaker for the MMF (Music Managers Forum Canada), Manitoba Music, Indie Music Week, SOCAN, Breakout West, Canadian Music Week, and has been a juror for FACTOR and the Alberta Media Development Fund.
As Partner and President of A&R for Opening Day Entertainment Group Inc., from 2002 to 2008, Trey was also responsible for securing Label Distribution Agreements with Universal Music Canada, Universal Music USA, JVC Japan, Apple, The Orchard, IDOA and several others. Under his direction, the label reached the USA Billboard's top 10 for several releases. Additionally, Trey has secured various agreements with Linus / Warner, Atlantic, Sony, Silva Screen, Silverside Productions and as Artist manager, signed Forest Blakk to Pete Ganbarg at Atlantic Records NYC, and Marty Diamond at Paradigm/ Wasserman Music.
